Sorghum grain is related to millet and therefore naturally gluten free. Sorghum can be part of a low-gluten and gluten free diet, if it is tested first for gluten!
Sorghum is also rich in protein, with good bioavailability. Amongst other substances, it contains vitamins B1, B2 and B6 as well as high levels of the minerals iron, magnesium and manganese. This pseudo grain is rich in fibre .
Our sorghum flour is of 100% Austrian origin. Growing, cleaning, processing and multiple checks all take place in Austria. The flour has an aromatic, typical taste, as it’s freshly ground. The flour has a very fine consistency and is an attractive pale colour.
